Water Week!!

Okay this is the week of water. Let's all drink 8 8 oz glasses or 62 oz of water a day. This is not to difficult especially if you cut out all the sugar drinks. That is the second part of this weeks challenge no Pop. If you absolutely need something other than water try a fruit juice but not too much. Juices are not all that much better sugar wise to pop.
goal:
-8 glasses/62 oz water a day
-no pop!!!

good luck everyone. remember you get one point per day you achieve the goal.

feel free to correct any thing i post and please write your experiences. How you are getting it to happen in your life.

  1. Wow. Between this challenge and being 6 months pregnant, I've alraeady gone to the bathroom like 15 times! But I always feel better when I drink more water. The soda thing will be a challenge-- Rob relies on his Dr.P to get him through the afternoon and I need my diet coke pretty often.....

  3. Two days down, three to go this week. I like to drink most of it in the morning sitting in class, it gives me the chance to take some breaks.

  4. The only way I have found that I will drink water at school is to put my camel pack bladder in my backpack and look like i'm hiking every day of my life. Water bottles don't stay cold and the drinking fountains in the health science building where I live are gross. So I suck from a blue straw emerging from my backpack that a kid named manuel from Peru compared to a marijuana bong today. Oh well, at least the bathrooms in that building are nice. 3 for 3 baby!

  5. I use drinking water as a good excuse to get out of my office at work. The tap water at the health dept. tastes like metal, so I take a trip to the second floor to fill my water bottle when I get "cabin fever" in my office.

  6. Almost didn't make it yesterday when I forgot my water bottle at home. Yikes. I managed to barely slip by and today I'm proudly sipping down water as I listen to heme production. Delicious. I have learned to not be picky with water, I think of it as medicine and just drink the cold or not-so-cold water. I prefer cold water.

  8. I don't drink any pop anyway. I am trying to prove that one can make it through 5 years of general surgery without any caffeine. I drink lots of water instead. If I always have to pee, I won't sleep. It makes call night fun.

  9. Thanks everyone for commenting. As for points well yes I think it,s important to report success and own up to when we are,t quite making it. It helps us grow. But to be honest I,m not in love with the point idea. Dose anyone have any other ideas?

  10. I realy struggle to get all the water in if I'm out and about. When I'm at home I do great. I think I need to use Emm's idea and get myself a cute water botle. -Aubrey
