5 a day

Sorry everyone about last week.
This week we'll get back and do a nutrition challenge. I think the water went over really good for everyone. It was a challenge but I think once we all found what worked for us it was easy.
This week will be a little bit more challenging. We will work on getting 5 servings of fruits or vegetables in in a day.
It's harder than you think. And I think it really comes to the moms/wives in each home to have fruits and veggies available for the rest of the family.
Good luck everyone. Let me know how your getting them all in in a day. What you are choosing to eat. and if you have any fun recipes for a veggie or fruit let us all know.

  1. We're going to be trying eggplant parmesan this weekend. Also, I have to use up the rest of my squash that I bought so I think we're doing a roast with squash and turnips.

  2. we are really really trying to eat fruits and veggies. it is hard. apples are a staple. carrots work well for lunch, but what can you do when Teri hates peas and Brad hates green beans? Lots of lettuce and corn I guess.
